Plantation Barbados Grande Reserve

Comfortably one of my favourite rums consumed in the last year. Simply sip with a single piece of ice. Not too sweet, honeysuckle notes and vanilla toffee apple. Well recommended and extremely good value for money and the bottle looks great. About to order another bottle later as I'm about to finish this one.

This was the first plantation rum I ever purchased...and I was very impressed. Tasty and mild as how I would describe it. No complaints.

This is a quality product. Very smooth, sweet, but not overly so, wonderful flavours, and for me it has a short lived spicy aftertaste like pepper or chilli, as opposed to alcohol burn. Just a joy to sip on this neat. I am guessing the smoothness comes from the 2nd aging in Cognac barrels in France. A wonderful Rum at a reasonable price.

A nice smoother smell then the 3 star. This one has a great taste, nice and smooth with a long pleasant aftertaste. Quite enjoyable neat.

Had it straight, and thought, not bad! I'm an over ice fan, so probably better. Put some ginger beer in (not a cola or coconut water fan) and for the price, it goes down very easily. As a mixer, it gets another point

En fil helt alm god rom fra Barbados som ikke går over i historien men heller ikke koster så meget.

Great rum for the prize. Smooth, tasty exotic fruits (mostly citruses). Light vanilla ending.
