El Dorado 12-Year

Acest rom emana in miros o combinatie de rasina cu iz dulceag si condimente.

La degustare se simte siropos cu gust fructat intrun echilibru de fructe rosii si negre si cu alcool bine integrat. Gustul e usor atipic in ideea ca gusturile clasice ale romului cum ar fi caramelul sau vanilia se simt cumva pitite prin arome ) poate doar un gust de cacao sa fie mai tradat de vaurile ce ti inunda papilele undeva mai spre postgust care este destul de persistent .

Cred ca este un rom cu mult zahar adaugat dar care incearca in popstgust sa ti aduca o senzatie de sec )) deci daca esti un militant mentru romul fara zahar adaugat dar ai momente in care nu te mai intelegi cu tine insuti si vrei sa incerci ceva dulce acesta este romul potrivit pt ca aduce cumva cate putin din toate si este departe de starea in care te aduc celelalte bombe de zahar cum ar fi diplomatico sau zacapa , romuri carora chiar daca poate reusesti sa le apreciezi adancimile nu mai poti sorbi si al doilea pahar fiind deja in zona de mult prea dulce..

... in rest , mai bine bei un rom fara zahar adaugat ))))))

I love the 8 and decided to try the 12, does not disappoint, good price point an great in a cocktail or on its own. Will definitely buy again.

I believe there is still some sugar added to this rum but they've reduced the amount significantly. This is a decent sipping rum with plenty of molasses, brown sugar, and a touch of barrel char going on. A nice rum to use as an intro to sipping rum for the uninitiated.

Des bouteilles bien plus chères mais moins bonne .
Pas trop sucré donc ne vous dégoute pas à force.

Almost drinkable. Bought at 31.00 based on 7.7 rating here.

Smell is heavy, dark rum, hints of alcohol and caramel. Nothing interesting here. The taste is sweet-ish, with immediate alcohol burn. So it tastes bit bitter, like burned caramel. Finish is kind of toffee taste, but bland with leftovers of that alcoholic burn. Overall, not really my taste and the amount of added sugar doesn't suit me too.

Vanila and fruit aroma. Sweeter taste. Very good quality for the price.

Highly underrated. Maybe one of the wet runs for the price point. Especially $50 and under bottles. While the 15 year is excellent, save the $20 and get the 12.
