El Dorado 12-Year

Great Demerara rum. Lots of wood and the right touch of sweetness

Great rum for sipping with flavours of vanilla, caramel, hint of banana. Has a very pleasant and floral nose. Rum is also fantastic for mixing with spirit forward cocktails and isn’t too expensive. Such a complex experience. By far the smoothest run I’ve had so far. Next rum on my bucket list is the 15 and 21 year El Dorado.

This one is what you want from a good drink. Smooth and round due to the stay in oak barrels used for bourbon.

Picked this up off a recommendation and I couldn't be happier! Such a wonderful taste over a small amount of ice!

Suffice to say, I am glad to be visiting these notes to recollect how much I enjoy this rum.

I’m not the biggest fan of Demerara rums, but this one is really good. It’s easy to drink this one. Some rums get overly wood-y with age, but this one keeps its flavor nicely.
