Původ: Madagaskar
Alkohol: 45 %
Chuť: Medová sladkost, kůže, kokos, rozinky a mléná čokoláda.

Quite harsh start, then caramel, cocoa and raisins in aroma; honey start, raisins, milk chocolate and coconut touch in body with harsher end; short tail.

Not very strong or intense, but well balanced. Doesn't overexert, several glasses are possible :-). Some herbs, some cacao, some banana, some plum, a hint of hazelnut or nougat and gentle sweetness.

Dzama 6yo was my first contact with Madagascar rums and I had no idea what to expect. What I got is dry but very smooth rum with amazing taste.

Bottle: Its standard glass bottle with sackcloth on it, which makes bottle look pretty good. Really nice choice from creators of this rum.

Color: Mix of honey and caramel.

Smell: I can smell raisins and vanilla from the bottle. Its pretty intense smell, with almost no alcohol in it.

Taste: It starts with something sweet like raisins or chocolate and then turns pretty dry. This rum is not solera. Its pure 6 years of aging and there are no younger rums riuning the taste. Also the taste it very smooth and you wouldnt guess that this has 45% of alcohol. Its not as sweet as Diplomatico or Millonario, but not as dry as La Hechicera or some whiskey.

I really recomend trying this rum at least to know what taste comes from Madagascar. And I dont think you will regret tasting it.
