Venezuela | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot Still Distilled
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum is distilled from molassis in copper pot stills and then aged in small oak casks for on average 12 years before being bottled.
Produced in Venezuela, which has a rich rum history dating to 1896, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains.

Best bag for your buck. If your just learning about rum add this one to your Collection and you will not be disappointed.

I've tried hundreds of rums, and have I've 75 different types in my cellar at home. I have 4 cases of this. It's that fantastic. Rich and creamy, heavy caramel and toffee, without being overwhelmed with hard oak. This is the epitome of rum, the gold standard by which all others are judged. Superb!
The definition of smoothness. It would be a mortal sin to mix this with anything else.
Taste is there, there are more complex tastes but not as smooth as this.
This is Zacapa XO quality at a third of the price.

I like this one, very much. This delicious rum has found its way around Venezuela from all over the world. It is probably their best export item. If you have never tasted it, do not hesitate, because for this price it is the absolute top.
Smooth, complex, sweet, deep, perfect. Never drank a better one in my life. I keep finding more layers of taste

I've been trying to launch into the world of more higher-end rums. I'm not really a sipper and so I prefer cocktails. This rum does not disappoint in any way and has become a new option for us in classic daiquiris or a rum old-fashioned. Wonderful caramel and oak, with hints of vanilla and citrus. It creates a very rounded flavor profile in either of the classic cocktails I mentioned.
Clean taste. No bite at all. Straight up on ice is my preferred.

First you feel like vanilia,after few seconds feel the all special Diplomatico taste.

I think it is one of the most famous rums, which drinks well and does not disappoint. Delicious taste with a sweet finish.
Excellent rum, which already has strong competitors. Nevertheless, I like to return to him.

Loved every drop. Some may mention sweet, however that is precisely what rum is. The trick is to balance the sweet with the fire. This makes you think of neither as you hum down each glorious sip of rich, deep, complex and smooth as β¦β¦(insert simile of choice) rum.
