Dillon Blanc 50

Naprosto svěží a dobrý rum, který celý padl (litrové balení) za jeden večer - lahoda.

Famous in its origin country. Just add cane sugar and limette. Great fruity taste. At the first time harsh but as soon as you get the true character it is just awesome.

Color : Clear
Flavour : Grassy notes, esthery, a strong and pungent rum.
Palate : Dry, clean & strong

Im surprised to read bad reviews here. Dillon is a very decent rum and good value for money. In France it costs about the same as Bacardi and is in another league. For some reason it is very popular with sailors and drunk lots of it in my young days sailing!

Make your basic cocktails with it and use it fro baking

With a percentage of alcohol of 50 or 55% this agricole white rum may seem harsh to drinkers used to rums around 40%. However Dillon white rum is a good rum with floral flavours, though not my favourite.
If ever you find a rum too harsh due to its proof, do not hesitate to "wet" it with some water in order to lower the percentage of alcohol. All rums get out fom the distillation column with a percentage of alcohol around 70%. Nearly all of them are then water drowned to reach their distribution proof.

55-50-43 is the order for me. With this you can really start cooking some good drinks out of. Packs adequate punch. Have had loadsvof bottles of this and the 55 ABV version. Recommended for any serious rum drinker.

Mon rhum de coeur, sont odeur ramène tellement de nostalgie que malgré sa réputation de rhum bas de gamme (ne parlons même pas des rhum à moins de 10€...) je continue d'en boire avec plaisir. Idéal pour un punch il passe aussi très bien en ti punch ;-)

...It's good in Mojitos, Ti Punchs or other mixed drinks, but a bit too harsh to be drunk as a sipper. Good rum though, if you do like agricoles.

L'odeur et le goût sont fruités.
La finale est un peu âpre.
Très correct pour les planteurs, je préfère le 43°.
