This is the cheap well rum of Belize, but surprisingly good for the price! It's cane juice based, so it's got a little bit of the grassiness of an agricole, with a slight bit of brown sugar on the pallette. Definitely not very complex, but smooth and quite drinkable and amazing for the price.
Brought a bottle of this home with me from Belize. I was a little disappointed I got a smaller bottle, wished I’d bought a full size so I could use it to mix sone drinks and try using it different ways. This went down very easy with strong fruit undertones.
a friend who's wife is venezuelan brought this back for me as a gift for a tiny favor. i thought this would be the usual cheap caribbean gold rum ubiqutous all over down there. whoa, way wrong. it's not super refined or anything, and there's no marketing gimmick story on the label. but this rum is fine. damn fine. amazing molasses taste, strong nutmeg flavor, very viscous. this rum is just so different and yet, tastes what i imagine countless pirates surely wrote dittys about. i love this rum.
It is light and smooth. Goes down easy. Silky flavour. Just a nice rum all around.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Best amber in Belize

I have sure tried a lot of amber rum in Belize. This is the best. I still can't rate any amber much over 6. but this would make a very good mixer. it is priced lower than other Belizian ambers and is twice as good. It is cleaner, smoother and has more body than Bacardi and many others. Good rum. very good for the price.
