I first started drinking this rum in Mombasa Kenya in 1981, and even today i still go back to this one rum because the taste is just sensational and gives me the zing that is required in life like no other rum does
Cheers

Okay, my palate is not as good as yours if their is such a subjective thing. I bought this rum on a cruise to Jamaica and thought it would pretty good. Well, I was surprised by its flavor. I did taste it while I was there, but it is much better now that I am home. Maybe it's the nostalgia of it, maybe not. I like it and it is a nine to me. I don't have a doctorate in tastology but I like this one if it matters to you.

The perfect mixer for a Rum and ginger beer (can't cal it Dark n Stormy as Goslings have trademarked that name) nevertheless its a perfect rum for that drink.

This is my favorite rum in a Mai Tai mixed together with Cruzan Aged Gold. The Coruba is a nicely balanced dark with not too much molasses flavor but just enough. Works wonders in any "tiki" drink and is great with cola.

Unmistakably Jamaican, which I've come to enjoy.

It's similar to the basic Appleton signature blend, with perhaps a bit more of a molasses hint.

It's drinkable neat, and not what I'd call harsh. For a cheap bottle it hits above its weight, which makes it good value.

This and Appleton signature will be my go-to basic rums, for when I don't want to pay $10 more for the Appleton 8 year.

One of the classic tiki drink rums, one you just need to have, it mixes well with most things and adds a robust dark flavor.

Very nice and smooth, full of molasses flavor.

...you'll need a few bottles of this in your bar. This is a perfect example of a rum that was made to be mixed in good drinks because it blends in so well, but isn't delicious or complex enough to stand alone and be sipped neat. It's a perfect mixer.
