Thiner body and for myself too sharp alcohol taste

Color Ámbar obscuro, piernas gruesas y lentas, aroma madera que denota su alejamiento y cítricos, característico del Angostura. El sabor es bueno pero corto.

This rum seems a little harsh but it actually taste very elegant. It has a light refreshing taste and at the same time has an oldish smokey wooded taste.
It is a sipper but is very nice with a touch of Sprite.

Wonderful to sip, but had a sharp hint on the nose.

Vůně: medová / citrusová
Chuť: těžší rum, palivý na jazyku, po nadechnutí velmi jemný s chutí po citrusech

Moins lisse que son petit frère le 1919 (et moins sucrée), le test m'as plu, son prix ne sera pas longtemps un obstacle à en obtenir 70cl à déguster à la maison.

A nice rum to enjoy straight up from glass. Taste is sweet and quite deep. Only eight because of quite heavy afterburn, would be nice to get a smoother touch to the end. The difference to 1919 is significant in colour and taste as this is somewhat smoother. I recommend to give this a try if you have had the 1919.

Sweet, but still with a taste of the alcohol. A slight too much smell of sugar. Very good with a cigar
