I bought this in duty free on the way home from Japan. The idea I got from the packaging was 'Bacardi Clone' as it reminded me of circa 90's Bacardi labelling. Wow, happy to be wrong, this must be agricole style. It doesn't have all the grassy-ness of some famous agricole rums but it has all the other notes. It also has an incredible buttery warm toasted sugar cane aroma but the taste finishes with a sharp acidic minty menthol finish. Like the alpine air. I havent figured out where it fits in my cocktail brain, somewhere near cachaça i suppose.
