I was given this by a client and was told its pretty old , the label had fallen off etc so i wasn"t expecting much. But i was pleasantly surprised ! Nice smell of honey and faint molasses , i would guess about 4 - 5 years old maybe. Not a very dark rum , more copper coloured . Tried straight and is quite drinkable , bit of a burn but not overbearing. Mixes well with Ginger Beer but not cola in my opinion. Nothing fancy but light and tasty , i had never heard of them before and the rum is not available in NZ as far as im aware.
