In the nipper bottle from The Party Source in Bellevue KY. Tasted on 1-15-24. Pours a rich golden color. If green apple is a spice, then this has an acetaldehyde spice aroma. Flavor is bad. There is a profoundly bitter chemical taste preceding an unpleasant chemical butyl-alcohol burn. Just horrid.
A bit of ethanol and vanilla on the nose. Not to much burn, but a bit of alcohol taste with the flavoring.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tasted January 15 2024 at the Forbidden Hole
MLK Day
-3 degrees
Appearance: light straw
Aroma: alcohol. General "spiced rum" aroma
Flavor: this is a hot rum that burns the nose, then parts to make way for a vanilla flavor and more fire followed by something vaguely Christmas.
Tasting notes: overall I found this rum to be quite unpleasant; it even left a burning sensation in my nose. I don't understand why you'd want a spiced rum's main characteristic to be that it imparts pain.
