Mezan Panama 1995 bottle looks very nondescript and the rum is surprisingly light in color. The color resembles a typical light amber from 3 years of aging, nothing close to the Mezan quality. Very strong fruits to the nose. More tropical fruits to the palate, but very dry. Surpringly similar to the Mezan Panama 1999 bottling.
Bottled at 40%. MIxed views about the packaging, but the rum inside was very good. Soft fruit, great integration of oak, smooth, rich, sweet with a great acidity. Very nice and very easy to drink - much better than the 1999.
