It is just an amazing rum! Barbadian rum is definitely my top rum destination. Classic banana flavor, slightly sweet and with an oaky taste. Aftertaste is a little bit spicy. The aroma is just great. Oh, and is cheap!

As a huge fan of Foursquare, I had to try the Doorly's line and thought i would start with their aged sipper. I am not disappointed. The taste is drier than the sweet nose would imply. Lots of rich flavors combine in as smooth a sipper as they come.

This, at the time of writing, is currently my favourite rum. The taste is really good but the finish is utterly astonishing. It makes you smile after every sip. I didn't have massively high expectations when i bought this due to a lot of mixed reviews but i am so glad i bought this! I wish bars & pubs etc round my area would sell rum like this rather than Bacardi, Captain Morgans etc. I would finish their whole bottle no matter how much a double each time costs! Only reason i did not give a 10 as i am sure there will eventually be something i love even more, like possibly the Appleton Joy blend which i am dying to try.

This is what a rum should be. The aroma in the snifter is surprisingly sweet, knowing that there is zero added sugar. The rum is really smooth with an awesome finale. The color is amber. I'm really impressed with the work made by foursquare distillery and Mr Seale. Can't wait to try the xo and the R.L. Seale 10 years. They are not so cheap here in Europe (usually this is around 55€) but surely this was worth every cent.

Za mne velice podobný XO, který je po novu lahvován na 43%, dříve 40%. Chutě se vyrovnaly. Přednost dám asi spíše XO 40%, který je podle mne jemnější.

Surprisingly delicate and light on its feet for 12 years of age. Fun to taste, this is a cognac lover's rum, with floral aromas and flavors. Eminently sippable, and fun to ponder over. Punches well above its price.

Amber, almond, affection. No need to travel to Barbados. I’m holding it in my glass.

Typical Barbados rum, dry, smooth, minimal afterburn. In addition nice brown color. It is a must for less sweet rum lovers.

Nadpis byl jednoduchý. Takový prostě je. Když máte kvalitní produkt, nepotřebujete ho krýt cukrem. Oproti Doorlys XO má navíc k chuti dřeva také výraznou sherry složku. Je mnohem jemnější než stejně tak úžasný Dos Maderas PX 5+5. U Maderasu mám pocit, že se právě krylo cukrem, ale dávám oběma 9b a to jen proto, že může ještě někde čekat 10tka.
