Captain Morgan Dark

Perfectly acceptable dark rum for mixing but thats as far as it goes. Very sweet and has a bit of a bite. I can taste sugar , molasses and some spice. Not very good neat but pleasant enough with coke or ginger beer.

This seems to be the standard for bar stock in our area. If all else fails while watching the game a Captain & Coke is a nice refreshing drink. Not one of my favorite rums, but works just fine with coke and a lime.

This rum is kinda popular with cola. It is too sweet for me and nothing else worth mentionning.

Goes down the hatch easily enough prefer drinking this one with coke or Dr pepper.

Don't mix it with cola! First drink a shot and then a sip of cola afterwards. Only like that the nice flavour will come through cola taste "filtered" from ethanol scent. And then eat a piece of chocolate. Imho it is one of the best cocktail-like combinations of regular-price drinks.

Good dark Rum .Smell better than Captain Morgan Spiced. Good to mix.

Nothing about this rum excites me however does it do its job of being a mixer rum yes and is good with coke but rubbish straight up or rocks
