I always buy this rum in Maui and bring back a case of it to share with friends on the mainland every year. Whether you're drinking rum & coke or a fruity mai tai, this is my go to rum. Very reasonable priced in HI. Any Costco or Longs Drug store has it and you won't go wrong by supporting the local economy. Mahalo

Smells vaguely like fruit and sterile machinery. Tastes mostly like raw alcohol and chemicals. Has the tiniest aftertaste of an pineapple fruit, but mostly just burning.

In a Cuba Libre, it's mild enough that it sort of vanishes, so it's not a total loss

Made me sick after drinking just like 5 cl. I was expecting great flavor from Hawaii Islands I had sort of antifreezing liquid. I am now even wondering whether tus rum is not outsourced from China. I saw no sugarcanes in Hawaii......
