Golden yellow and very soft to drink, one of the finest that I have pleasured
In Baltimore, where I live, I can pick up 0.75L of this for $6.50. That's bottom-of-the-bottom shelf cheap, and with that in mind, I'm a decent fan of this rum. It tastes cheap, but not gross; if you breathe out through your nose to cut the ethanol bite, it's pleasantly sweet with just a little bit of body. I can sip it without a grimace, and if you mix it with things that taste good, it won't ruin them.
Booze is expensive, and sometimes I don't have the spare cash to invest in something that will both get me drunk and give me a nuanced taste experience. If you're already going cheap, I find this a much better bet than most anything I've found in this price range.
6 is a bit high, but I'm rating it for value, not just taste alone. Don't pay over 10$ for it, but I doubt you'll have to.
Ok I love trying new rums and well to put it bluntly stay clear of this mess. It has a smell similar to that of paint thinner. I however still felt adventurous and poured myself a shot. It is lightly smooth....but like that of water.....with a burn. The rum has no flavor at all. I also tested a shot with coke and it reminds me of cheap bar rum n cokes. Coke flavor remains with a slight burn.
This bottle will end up being dumped. Price....out by $10. I will probably stick to the higher end rums instead of exploring these cheap ones lol.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Not bad, inexpensive, and a reasonable taste

I don't pretend to be a connoisseur of fine liquor. I can afford to buy more expensive liquor, but if I do, I expect to get something extra for the money. Unfortunately, this rum doesn't appear to be available in my area, I found it on a trip. I like this rum in mixed drinks. I've never tried it straight.
