Cubaney Centenario 25-30-Year

Bought this after reviewing this website significantly and I was not disappointed. Its one of those special rums, that you should really savor and save for a while... I could not. It was too good and I got through the bottle in weeks... So happy I bought this!

I like the rum smooth, and a bit sweet, without added too much sugar. I got this bottle last summer at the Rombo store in Copenhagen. You can sit for 15 minutes, and just smell it, before the first zip. Then you get a cascade of tastes, and you can sit there, sucking on that one little zip for 5 minutes.
I will definitely take that trip to Rombo, and get another bottle, the next time I visit Denmark.

I tasted this fantastic rum at the famous Rum Bar in the beautiful Whitsunday Isles in North Queensland..
A bit higher 42% ABV really helps pep this rum up ! So sweet and spicey but in a great way.. leave in the glass for 20 mins then sip away !! Dried fruits , some toffee and maybe almonds ? Very complex and a lovely long aftertaste.. definitely one of the best sipper s I have ever tried. You have to try this at least once in your life.

Denne rom slår QRM af pinden, som min absolutte favorit-rom, og det gør det egentlig ret klart.

Duften, smagen og ikke mindst eftersmagen er i en liga for sig selv. Prisen Regin den dyre side, men den er på alle måder pengene værd.

Everything is so well balanced and it’s a great rum to drink with a nice Dominican cigar.

I got this collecting dust over a year now, sipping from it once in a while, picked it up around 90 euro's. I love it, smooth, complex, almost have an extra level of thickness around it. The after taste isnt as long as I hoped for but that doesn't matter compare how delightfully the actual tasting is!! It might be a little sweet compare to the rest of my rums but I only here I make an exception!

The nose is full of caramel, red berries, sticky toffee and thick butterscotch. So rich and dense.

The taste is awesome. Rich and thick. Superb balance between sweet and spicy. Long lasting aftertaste.
