It clearly isn't the best rum out there, but when you're colombian you really get to enjoy this product

I was curious and picked up a bottle in Lexington. The Licorice flavor was very apparent. I wasn't bad overall and a fresh take on can spirits that I haven't seen before. I haven't trade mixing it yet to see if it has any wonderful partners.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tasted in a rum flight of Columbian rums at Cuba Libre in Washington DC on 5/22/23. Pours clear. Strong aroma of a blend of mouthwash mint and paint thinner acetone. Astringent mouthfeel. Flavor is licorice, but not support strong like anise, samba or uzo. Interesting for those who like black licorice.
