Enjoyed this one. A nice nose with a bit of hay, citrus and sugarcane. Sipping the rum I pick up slightly grassy, sweet peaches fading into a complex woody finish with light notes of nutmeg. Has a little bite, but with decent balance.
New grove is a distillery I have had quite a few tastings but never had anything spectacular .
This gets added to that list .. this has lovely coffee notes for ..
Nosing
Grass, oranges , lemons , oak , coffee
Tasting
The tasting reminds me heavily of cointreau mixed with an Agricole..
A bit to sharp for my taste but the fruit tastes on the middel was a pleasant surprise to the sharp start. Very slight smell. Definitely interesting.
Smell fruity and smokey. Taste pleasant fruity full with berries. Fresh but a bit Smokey. It doesn’t bite too much and I like the light aftertaste. From “24 rums collection” with S.
Saknar fyllighet. Ok.
Woody, ashy, pop corn with light coating of caramel with fresh stone fruits aroma.
Taste slightly similar to what I got on nose. Smokey, ashy and sweet pineapple with a tiny bite (sour bite which usually found in unripe pineapple).
Soft tannin from aging which stick on to gum which I enjoy pretty much. Dry and long finishing with aroma of banana lingering.
Enjoyed this one but the “7” may be a bit too generous. A very nice nose with a bit of citrus and sugar. Sipping the rum I pick up a woody/smoky finish. Has a little bite, but with decent balance and I enjoyed the light aftertaste. However, no afterglow. Not quite sipping quality but can stand in if you need one in a pinch. Added Coke - much better and happy to consume all night long.
Not bad but nothing special. Heavy in the wood flavouring. A bit of caramel but with a tinge of a sting. For first rum Ive tried from here, its pretty good ot that respect.
Vůně je sladká a jde cítit višeň.
Celkově má rum sladkou vůni i chuť.

N- Bright and uplifted citrus peels, sour smokes with lots of orange with zings of pineapple and obvious vanilla coating. Aromatic wood with generous quality sweet fruits. Clean, pleasant and delicious, nice as it is, no nonsense with those hidden dark spice, caramel and so on. Nice as it is. (22/25)
P- The smokes carry on from the aroma, with first sip of ashy earths to balanced things out, followed by charming icing sugar coated strawberry, fat creamy vanilla come thru, as well whiff of unwelcome usual caramel lurking in the back. (21/25)
F- Medium, crisp and dry. Creme anglaise, minted aromatic compote of banana, sweet mango and pineapple breakfast fruit salad drizzle with honey? Perhaps~ (21/25)
Balanced:- Surely for those with sweet tooth, with timely dryness emerge for a clean finish. (21/25)
Weighted Rate:- 85pt
