Captain Morgan White

Like in the title it's my favourite cheap rum I love it as a Cuba libre with coke and limon.

Pil jsem z delší dobu otevřené láhve, takže ve vůni nepřevažoval alkohol, ale kresolová (anti-covidová) desinfekce a shnilá tráva, ze které se prodírala slabě vanilka a karamel.
Chuť kopíruje profil vůně s lehce nahořklým ocasem. Nuda.

2. distillery (2022): Diageo’s Captain Morgan Rum’s distillery (St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands) from 2011. before that rum had been manufactured from a third-party distiller, Destileria Serralles (Ponce, Puerto-Rico)

this is by far the worst rum I've tasted. I understand it's white, but it's nowhere near the same Havana Club 3, Flor de Cana 4 Extra Seco, Santiago de Cuba Carta Blanca or Cartavio Silver for the same price or somewhen twice chiper. but you can drink them clean at least.
the aroma: is not so bad, sweet, but that's all. my wife says it's like burnt sugar. and that ia all.
on the palate: is impossible to drink clean. It is very alcoholic, and it is hard to gasp from this taste in the mouth. I used it on a Cuba Libre, and it was also the worst Cuba Libre I've ever had

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Thought I would give it a try and was happy I did.

Better than the bat piss producedd by Bacardi but still awful.

Good but nothing special, just medium. Create for mixing

Just like Bacardi gold, this rum is a go-to for young drinkers looking to mix drinks and get drunk. You can find much better rums (or slightly better rums at a higher alcohol percentage) at the same price readily. This rum is not worth buying over other rums you might find alongside it.

Nice vanilla aroma, pretty smooth for sipping, a bit alcoholic.

This white rum is absolutely nothing to write home about .As a mixer it is passable .Neat , it is an improvement over the worst white rum (Bacardi) .It does have some tasting notes and a light aroma. I guess it can be considered a decent starter white rum and I'll leave it at that. All in all for the price it is just ok and very reasonable
