Diplomatico 2000

I have tried the 2000, 2001, 2004. 2000 is the best year. The later years are dryer and more woody. This bottle is perfectly balanced. Deep toffee with a perfect toasted oak finish. As smooth as they come. Its almost 2020 so probably not many left

amazingly smooth, great balanced of flavors, stands tall with another favorite of mine Eldorado 21yr.

ce rhum est très travaillé, bien équilibré, avec la touche caractéristique du ron diplomatico ! goûter absolument (si vous le trouvez encore!)

This Rum is a dream come true. All the reviews I've read talk about the chocolate and vanilla notes and they're there in abundance.

Moins sucré que le Reserva exclusiva, il est plus complexe et offre un sacré agréable moment. Avec un cigare c'est super.

Will revisit once I've tried more, but this one's top of the stack for now.

beautiful rum with hints of vanilla , caramel and a very large presence of that specific flavor due to a long passage in bourbon and single malt casks. Coffee , chocolate come later in mouth with a very long aftertaste.
I can find also almond with specific pastry taste. Sweet one. Good experience. Need to taste now 2001 and 2002.

My favouiritte rum of all. Compared to the price this is the best in the world so far. Easy to drink with a lots of tastes

Simpy divine rum it does not get much better. Well balanced not too sweet with a lot of depth and flavor. I wish I had purchased more as it is not easily available now and a lot more expensive.
