With licorice and some oak in the nose, this rum starts off weel enough. But it does not confirm on the tongue, where the alcoolic burning takes over much too quickly. And there is absolutely no finishing. Might as well be some cheap whisky.
Not typically rum-sweet (which I liked for a change), a bit floral and... soapy. This smell/taste brought me back to 1992 when I worked in a hotel in Switzerland, where they had a soap that smelled almost the same. I was a great time, maybe that's why I give this Coruba 6/10 where someone else would give it less points.
