I was given this 12 year as a holiday present 4 years ago. CostCo was selling then. A nice surprise. Great flavors. It has a small bite at the end.

An excellent tasting rum that can be sipped on or mixed. Hints of vanilla and toffee. Definitely recommend!

Looks good but fails to deliver. A bit of spice and vanilla but quickly fades to grey...underwhelming.

A step above Zaya but not quite to the level of Zavala 23, this Caramel colored molasses rum is a true contender. Elegant and balanced, I thoroughly enjoy this rum

Not a bad rum in general, but lacking depth of flavour (for me) that I hoped for from a 12 Yr old rum. Fine for mixing. Disappointing sipper

So I personally like more sweetness. This burns just a little too much for my liking, without the sweetness to take the edge off. It is clearly a good rum with some complexity, but not likely to become one of my favorites.
Pleasant. Not as sweet and refined as Diplomatico and comes with more alcohol burn. Subtle raisin comes through but overall not very fruity. Not as good as I expected.

Good in that it is not too sweet as many others are. But this is not as smooth either. Has a harshness to it.

This is an ok rum. It wouldnโt be my first choice but after a few tastes itโs grown on me.

This is a rum I could drink every day, if not for the price (other reviews make me think this is cheaper in the US, but it's about $70 CDN where I live).
Very smooth very little bite on the finish. Such an easy drinking rum. I've only ever drank this neat, so I cannot compare it as a mixer. But, it's so good in its own, I wouldn't even dream of mixing it.
Easily a go-to rum.
