It was expensive to buy, but worth the price. Rich deep character, with a subtil finish.

Got a 5cl sample of it when I bought some Rhum from France. I don’t think I will buy it even though I think it’s fantastic, because of the very high price. It’s distilled Nov 1998, aged in cognac casks and bottled Feb 2009. The bottles are numbered and there are 600 bottles from each cask.
In nose you can recognize oak, different fruits and cacao. The palate is quite long and you can taste fruits and chocolate. The afterburn is also quite long and tastes like the palate plus some oak.
