Dos Maderas PX Luxus rum is produced using rums from Barbados and Guyana. The unique aging process includes an initial 10 years aging in the Carribean in oak casks. This is followed by an additional 5 years of aging in Spain in casks used to age the sherry Don Guido.
Bodegas Williams & Humbert produces the Dos Maderas family of rums, a well known Spanish winery founded in the late 1800s by Sir Alexander Williams. The region of Spain where the winery is located has a climate perfectly suited for wine and is known as Europe's wine cellar.

Wow wow wow wow ! OH my god !
Nose : Sweet with a lot of alcohol, so I thought I was gonna be disappointed...
In the mouth, oh my god ! The alcohol disappears ! So much flavour ! Very sweet, but in a good way. So round, perfectly balanced, ADDICTIVE !!!
The aftertaste doesn t last long at all...
BEST RUM EVER !!!

wow wow wow es de lo mejor q he probado en nariz es espectacular ,avellanas,datiles,jerez,es pesado un poco aceitoso ,es suave pero sabes q estas tomando ron añejo, la madera sale a relucir,equilibrado fenomenal

hold da op jeg er imponeret over fylde og sødme og en meget lang eftersmag. SÅ meget bedre end px 5+5. Dyr men virkelig en lækker rom

Po přivonění vás pohltí višňová vůně. Višeň se špetkou dubového dřeva a tabáku vás bude provázet i po napití. Po spolknutí vás lehce zašimrá v hrdle ostřejší ocásek. Rum je lehce nasládlý, medovitá konzistence jen potvrzuje, že si rum pobyl nejprve 10 let v dubovém sudu, aby pak po dobu pěti let natáhl višňový buket v sudu po sherry.
Na tento rum může být značka právem hrdá - vyzkoušejte! 10/10

Dispendieux est le seul bémol qu'on puisse trouver car il est vraiment très trè très bon, explosion de saveurs incroyable dans la bouche tout en étant d'une douceur exemplaire! Si vous voulez vous payez une bouteille à $200 ce sera certainement un très bon achat! La bouteille de 700ml se vide très vite, difficille de ne pas s'en verser un autre et un autre!

And opens up nicely with a (very) few drops of water.
Does have notes of a nicely aged port (my other favourite spirit).
Thus far, my 2nd favourite after the Appleton Estate Exclusive.

Een elegante rum bestaande uit een mix van zoete Barbados rum en volledig aromatische rum uit Guyana, met rijping in Spanje in Don Guido sherry vaten. Zeer intens en vol van smaak.

This rum was one of my tasting objective at the Belgium Rum Fest at Spa. I tasted all the rest of the familly and want to taste this one. And I was not disappointed. Sherry flavor with grapes and figs. Complex, smooth with long finish. The double maturation gives a round and well balanced rum. You are moving into an other world next the rum ;-)
