The aroma is rich and if you serve it with some high-quality chocolate as they recommend, you'll be surprised by the results. It is worth mentioning that the colour isn't that great and that the smell is "just" good. Okey finish as far as I am concerned but nothing special. Love the taste tho

My wife picked this up for me to add to my collection.
It is really sweat there is no need for mix. A great starting sipper, no burn at all. Even though it is sweet it doesn't hide the thick velvety cigar and molasses flavours.

Depending on the mood, but sometimes I like it. It is very swet, with rum backgroung and grapes taste on the foreground.

I have been considering 6 or 7 but because of this was one of the first rums which helped me to enter to the 'rum world', it is solid 7. It is true that the flavor is very sweet, but the sweetness somehow makes sense in this bottle. I can feel a strong taste of honey and raisins inside. I recommend it for ladies, most of them love it!

Was first introduced to this at a tasting. Bought a bottle and found it unique enough, but never bought another.
Then, on a visit to Cuba last year, was re-introduced to it again, in a new fashion.
A fellow at the bar showed me, combining a little with a mid quality rum makes for a nice combination.
The Legendario alone is on the sweet side, with notes of fig, nutmeg and cinnamon. Lower alcohol % and the higher sugar, puts it in a unique category.
Mixing this with another, pure rum spirit (at the time we were using Havana Club & Santiago de Cuba) makes for a great spiced spirit, well enjoyed with a mild cigar.

Women love this rum. It s a bit to sweet for rumaholics. Good sipper for parties.

Lower alcohol content and an easy sipping "rum". Pleasantly smooth and a good after dinner drink.. Never tried it in a mixed drink because i feel it would get lost in cola or ginger ale.
