As the name implies, Dorado is golden! A definite step up from Añejo Blanco in the flavour profile with its rich caramels and burnt sugars. Some of these are lost in mixed drinks but if you create simpler cocktails you will be rewarded! I tried an orange Bitters to create a 'Rum Rusty Nail' and that nailed the character and the caramels blend nicely with cola. Still not a sipper for my tastes but getting there.
