A wonderful 8 year old rum that is secured in a green squat hazy bottle which is a nice presentation for what is in store inside. Notes of honey, butterscotch, cloves, pepper, dried fruit, tropical fruit, cinnamon, vanilla, tea and cocoa.
Excellent rum enjoyed neat or mixed. Column stilled and aged in oak, this rum is a very versatile rum that is ideal and should be a welcome addition to ones rum collection or house rum.

Outstanding bang for buck. This 8 year old rum is easily sipped. Very well balanced. Smooth and not too sweet but not terribly complex. Great for every day sipping. I prefer to all other rums sourced in Nicaragua. This is the youngest rum that I enjoy sipping straight up.

I found a bottle of this rum in Avalon, NJ. It is a good sipper and made some great mixed drinks as well when we needed it.

Sødme og sprit i smuk forening. Karamel, vanilje, farin, lime, græs! Sød, men samtidig med en friskhed, som gør den meget harmonisk.

Is very sweet at the opening which gradually goes away at the finish. No taste really stands out. Is a very 'light' rum best enjoyed on a very hot day

That's really about it. There are other flavors there but they are overwhelmed by what tastes like a lot of added sweetness. This could possibly have been a good rum, what I can discern through the cloying sweetness reminds me of the subtle dry flavor of Flor de Cana 7 year. For the price there are so many others that are better.
