This rum is okay. It's not super expensive, but it's somewhat tasty. It seems smooth at first, but it can feel sharp after a few more sips. It's quite viscous, and it has a bit of afterburn as well. It doesn't have a strong presence in mixed drinks, but it's still okay have around if there aren't any other alternatives.
For a bottle under $20, not bad at all. Whipped up a couple of mojitos with it and they were great!
In my opinion, this is a good white rum that is better than lower tier rums and brands, but I like many other whites better. Try the 3 year El Dorado. Try the Plantation 3 Star. Spend just a little more and get the Pritchard's Chrystal rum - yes from the US of A!
Good cocktail rum but still I would choose Havana Club 3.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Great for the price. Like the synthetic cork vs. screw cap. Not the best bottle lip for pouring, but hey. I get very little on the nose except for a hint of vanilla and interestingly, isopropyl alcohol. Light body, crisp, mild burn, fairly dry and slightly bitter. Hints of candied fruit, orange, and chocolate. This performed very well in the Daiquiri! Not the worst sipper, but is very much at home in mixed cocktails calling for a light rum. This has a permanent home on my bar.
