Ron Esclavo XO Cask

Ok Rum, but not a favorit.
You can taste the family of the Ron Esclavo.

Considering the price, ok stuff. The nose is potent with notes of cinnamon, orange, chocolate and coffee. The palette is powerfull with the same notes found in the nose alongside sweet, burnt molasse, and a hint of leathery wood. The afterburn is sweet, creamy and spicy. You get alot of the tres hombres: captains choice "expirence" for a fourth of the price. But ultimately to sweet for me.

The high alcohol percentage doesn't feel like too much. Like rest of the Esclavos we're talking sweet rums. A little overpriced at only 50cl a bottle, but you get a quality product and a long lasting taste.

Her er virkelig en fantastisk rom. Klart den bedste i Esclavo serien.

Tykflydende kærlighed som fylder glasset der elegant dufter af diskret karamel! Smager godt, lenge og hele tiden. Procenten er høj, men man merker det ikke. Bedste i samlingen

The color is dark, The taste is thick. The finish hit you like a sledge. If morse rums where like this i would be a happy puppy.

All too strong. Ruins the taste. Some sweetness
10% lighter and it would have ben great.

Ron Esclavo XO Cask er XO dobbelt op både på farve, duft og smag - hold da op - (næsten for kraftig) ikke til for store doser ad gangen.

Wow, a lot of others have already said it all about this rum I think.
Even with a high ABV, its smooth and have a fantastic flawour that stays for a long time in your mouth
I have tride it with some water, but for my taste I think its better as it is.
I can feel tha higher ABV, but that wanich really quickly and then its all taste of rich flawourfull rum with balanced sweetnes

This one has a great aroma and the taste is even better. Even though it's a strong rum the alcohol taste doesn't take over as I expected it to do, instead there's an explosion of of different flavors that makes it very enjoyable. The aftertaste lasts several minutes afterwards.
