A. H. Riise Non Plus Ultra Very Rare

It´s one of my favorite. (9,5 / 10)
it´s a little bit to sweet , with an icecube it´s a little bit less sweet.

Nose - Great :sweet, dark ,fruits ,sherry ,smoke
Taste - Great : very sweet ,very rich, long and fruity ,sherry ,caramel , vanilla ,smoke,tabacco.
very long aftertase .

If you like sweet Rum , you must try this one.

One of the coolest looking flasks in my collection. And a very nice rum inside as well. Like sipping on thick sweet caramel and orangemarmalade, with a springle of peppery spicyness to round it off. At this price though, im wanting for a bit more complexity and a lot less sugar.

Super lækker Rom, slet ikke som Navy. Dejlig fløjlsblød.

Det er en modsætningsfuld rom, der er svær at blive klog på. Det er en kraftfuld men også en meget sød rom. Nogle dage er den meget vammel, og andre dage kan man nyde sødmen, krydderierne og den gode kompleksitet. Men en favorit bliver det aldrig.

This is the best i have had from AH Riise.
If You can accept that they flawor the rum with lots of sugar - then this is a truly grat rum with a complex long taste. In a nice looking flask.

Klart den bedste Rom fra A.H Riise og en af mine personlige valg til en god lørdag aften. En Rom som bedst vinder en kender, med den søde og rette tilvalg af smagsvarianter, gør dette til en Top 5 Rom hos mig.

I am not a fan of the Riise productions in general, so I wasnt too optimistic when i poured myself a glass of this. However I must admit this is the first Riise ever that I actually enjoy. The orange is kept at such a low level that its hardly noticeable, unlike all other Riises I've tasted.

Nose: Oak, Caramel, burned sugar, sherry
Taste: Caramel (ALOT of caramel and volume!), vanilia, dried fruits
A very round and gentle aftertaste, that small alcohol bit that felt in the beginning is completely gone now.
It is still a very sweet rum, and to many it will be too sweet. But for me this is the best Riise production I've tasted to this day, this is actually drinkable! :-)

this beautiful dark brown colour. Very sweet, fruity and soft rum.

Denne er meget sød, men smager helt fantastisk.

For folk der ikke kan lide søde rom, så er denne ikke at anbefale.
