We step back in time to Rum’s origins through the lens of the History of Sugar. Thought provoking questions on whether or not the Caribbean, that identity exists and much more. For those who really want to understand Rum right here in at it’s starting point in Barbados. We have the leading Caribbean acadmeics and speakers take us on this journey to learn the history of Sugar & Rum.

The Barbados Rum Experience was created to ensure that Caribbean voices were telling the Caribbean story. We put the history of sugar and rum at the forefront of our seminars and work hard to ensure we support local Barbadian initiatives along the way.
